Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) is a Malaysia's first Islamic University was established by the Malaysian Government at the beginning of the 21st century. It is a public institution of higher 12th in the country and registered in the name of Islamic Science University of Malaysia (formerly known as Islamic University Malaysia). Between the purpose of the establishment of USIM are to uphold Islamic education and bringing them into the mainstream of education and emphasizes the use of information technology in teaching and research. Arabic and English language proficiency as well as the national language is also a focus.
