Selangor (also known as Selangor Darul Ehsan) is one of thirteen states that
make up Malaysia. It is located in the heart of the west coast of Peninsular
Malaysia and around the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. The
state is also bordered by Perak to the north, Pahang to the east, Negeri
Sembilan to the south and the Strait of Malacca to the west.
The state
adopted the constitution of the monarchy for generations, and now under the
auspices of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj. Since March 10, 2008, Pakatan
Rakyat (PR) took over the state of the rule of Barisan Nasional (BN). Minister
