Selangor (also known as Selangor Darul Ehsan) is one of thirteen states in Malaysia. It is located in the heart of the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia and around the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. The state is also bordered by Perak to the north, Pahang to the east, Negeri Sembilan to the south and the Strait of Malacca to the west.
